Questions

Introduction

The best way to get started with photography is to find a friend with a camera and take a photo walk. If you don't have a friend who has a camera, read this article.

Do you have a camera?

You should have a camera.

You can use your phone to take pictures, any digital camera, or even an old film camera. If you don't have one, you can use the camera built into your phone and still get beautiful photos.

Do you take pictures?

You're right to ask. After all, I'm a professional photographer, and it's not every day that you meet someone who does what you do. I don't remember when or where I first started taking pictures, but I know that my life would be completely different if it weren't for photography.

I take pictures all the time. Every day at home and on the job. On Sunday mornings, while everybody else is sleeping in after the big weekend party, late at night when everyone else is asleep, even in bed with my wife I always have my camera by my side (or under my pillow).

My kit consists of: a Nikon D3300 DSLR; a Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens; an SDHC 32GB memory card (Class 10); an ACME Camera strap with clip attachment points on both sides of the strap so it can be used as either a neckstrap or wrist strap depending on how you prefer to carry your camera; two lens caps one for each end of the said lens; and one hood for the said lens which helps prevent unwanted flare from entering into any shots you may take outdoors during midday hours when direct sunlight hits directly overhead due to low hanging clouds blocking out direct rays from our star Sol itself!

Do you want to take pictures?

You want to take pictures. Of everything. Your friends, yourself, your favorite food, and your favorite movie. This is a great idea! You should do it all the time! I love taking pictures as much as I can because it makes my life so much better. There are many things that happen every day in our lives that we might not remember if we don't have photos of them on our phones or laptops or wherever else we store them. Photos are good because they help us remember things that happened so we can look back on them later and say, "Oh yeah! That was fun."

I am particularly fond of one kind of photo: candid shots taken by someone who doesn't know their picture is being taken (or doesn't care). For example:

  • If you're at a party with some friends who aren't too drunk yet but are still pretty silly anyway.

  • If you're hanging out at home watching Netflix with all your roommates.

  • If someone takes a selfie while doing something fun like eating cereal with chopsticks in each hand or playing cards with another person who also has chopsticks for hands (this last one isn't real life, but it could be!).

If anything funny happens around me when I'm taking photos, chances are good there will be a picture taken of it somewhere online soon after!

Do you want to be ready for the opportunity to take pictures?

You never know when an opportunity will present for you to take pictures. It's important that you be ready for it when it comes. How do you prepare yourself?

  • Be prepared by always having a camera with you, even if your phone doesn't have a dedicated camera app. You can always use the default camera app on your device if nothing else is available.

  • Have spare batteries and memory cards, so there are no delays in getting those photos off of your device and up into the cloud where they belong!

Do you want me to answer the questions above?

  • Do you want me to answer the questions above?

Yes. I have a camera. Yes, I take pictures. Yes, I want to take pictures. Yes, I want to be ready for the opportunity to take pictures! Yes, I want you to answer the questions above!

The answer is yes to all of them.

The answer is yes to all of them.

The answer to every question you may have asked yourself today is yes. The answer to every single one of your questions is yes. Every question that you might have thought of since the moment you were born, every question that anyone in the history of humanity has ever thought, and even any possible questions that anyone could ask in the future: they are all answered with an unyielding 'yes.'

Yes - this is a particularly important word because it's not just a noun but also an adverb and an interjection yes! And how about "no"? Well, I don't think we'll be getting any more from it than we already do from our old friend "not": nothing useful!

Final thought

The answer is yes. To all of them. The only question to ask yourself should be “when?” And
